Tuggle showed up behind a shopping center a few months ago. A rescuer and a local dog expert, Gray Tuggle, had been feeding one cat, Samantha, there for years (TNR'd 3 years ago). Then this guy showed up out of nowhere, like they so often do.... A month or so ago, Gray was notified that the wooded parcel where they lived was soon to be mowed down and the cats had to go. So both Samantha and Tuggle have come to live here. Tuggle is doing very well and is an adoptable cat. After spending the first week with the other cats spinning like a top with his paws out whacking at everyone that passed him, he now gets along well with the others.
I've never seen a cat rest in this position. He is on the back of a chair with his arms sticking straight into the air. The view behind him is the patio which will soon be enclosed for the cats. >

As it turns out, when Gray re-trapped Samantha to move her, it was discovered that her elbow has been crushed. Samantha stayed here for a bit but became ill. I took her to the vet where Gray works and when Gray spoke to her, she meowed. She had never spoken to me - so Gray and I decided that it was best for her to live with Gray. She is still a very reclusive, quiet cat but is safe now.
